Rummana Aslam, MD
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Aslam is board-certified in the specialty of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, or physiatry, and has subspecialty certifications in Brain Injury Medicine and Wound Medicine and Surgery. She joined Spaulding Cape Cod in 2018. Previously Dr. Aslam was Chief, Division of Wound Care, Medical Director of the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, and Director of the Integrative Limb Preservation Program at Hackensack University Medical Center (HUMC), and Assistant Professor, Department of PM&R at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. Her interests include traumatic brain injury, amputee rehabilitation, chronic wound care, lymphedema management, spine procedures, and EMG procedures.
Recognitions: Dr. Aslam has numerous publications, abstracts, and presentations, regionally, nationally, and internationally, to her credit, and has served as Principal Investigator on five research studies focused on wound healing. She received the Innovators’ Award from the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame in 2016 for patented research related to treating chronic wounds.
Sherri A. Clayton, MD, FACP

Recognitions: In her role as Director of Inpatient Medical Services, Dr. Sherri Clayton oversees all inpatient medical services at Spaulding Cape Cod and a team of hospitalists, physicians whose practice focuses only on the care of inpatients.
