Enhance Exceptional Care
Across the Spaulding network, our collaborative clinicians work tirelessly to help patients and families face some of life’s most challenging journeys with strength, dignity, and hope.
When a spinal cord injury paralyzed Ethan from the neck down and derailed his junior year at Boston University, his family turned to Spaulding for his rehabilitation. With hard work and determination, Ethan is on track to complete his degree this summer and walk with his class. It’s an academic achievement, and a physical one. Read his story of strength.
At our 2019 Annual President’s Council Celebration, Lisa Hughes shared a special conversation with patient Ethan Wang and his family about their patient care experience at Spaulding.
"Spaulding caregivers’ steadfast presence, expertise and reassuring demeanor are an integral part of every patient’s recovery."
— David Fischer
David Fischer, Spaulding patient and member of the Patient and Family Advisory Council, and his wife, Carol O’Connor-Fischer, were deeply impressed with the nursing care that helped David recuperate from a life-changing biking accident. They chose to give back by making a generous gift to support nurses’ continuing professional development.
