Welcome to the Falmouth Road Race 2020 – At Home Edition
Spaulding Cape Cod: Official Wheelchair Division Sponsor since 2015.
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod is excited to support the Falmouth Road Race - At-Home Edition during this challenging time.
As a hospital dedicated to helping people return to their lives after illness or injury, we know the critical role sports, exercise, and community play in creating health and wellbeing. Whether you’re a veteran racer or experiencing the race for the first time, we congratulate all of this year’s participants for doing their personal best and for supporting this iconic race.
Join Our Community at #SpauldingFRR2020
Although COVID-19 means there will be no cheering fans greeting racers at the FRR finish line this year, you can join Spaulding and feel part of a larger community celebrating individual achievement and the proud traditions of this race. We invite you to share your experiences before, during and after the race by uploading images using the hashtag #SpauldingFRR2020.
Wheelchair Division Set for Sunday, August 23, 2020

New Balance Falmouth Road Race continues its 46-year history of bringing together athletes from around the world in the highly competitive sport of wheelchair racing with this year’s virtual event. We are thrilled that course record-holders Tatyana McFadden and Daniel Romanchuk are among the luminaries helping to keep FRR’s tradition of wheelchair racing going strong. Expert commentary will be provided by Spaulding’s own Dr. Cheri Blauwet, herself a Paralympic and Marathon champion, and Craig Blanchette, Paralympic champion and 8-time winner of Falmouth’s wheelchair division.
