The Institute provides opportunities for collaboration and coordination of research efforts, and for dissemination of study information to scientific and lay communities. It maintains a central stroke research registry to facilitate and coordinate study recruitment.
The Stroke Institute maintains a registry for current and former stroke patients who are interested in participating in stroke recovery research projects at Spaulding. The information in this registry will be used by research faculty at the Stroke Institute to assist them in identifying and recruiting appropriate subjects for their research projects. To participate in the registry patients provide their name and contact information and give permission for research faculty to review their Spaulding medical record. This way, they can be contacted about studies appropriate to their medical circumstances. To join the Stroke Institute Research Registry email us today or click here to complete the registry form.
