The Spine Care rehabilitation teams at Spaulding can help you reduce your pain and improve your function. The Spine Care team includes Spaulding Outpatient Center Framingham physicians Darren C. Rosenberg, DO, Medical Director and Edward N. Wei, MD, Interventional Physiatrist as well as physical therapists, who create an individualized spinal rehabilitation exercise program to help you achieve both your short- and long-term rehabilitation goals, and prevent recurrences of the problems.

Your physical therapist will assist you in becoming adept at performing your prescribed exercise program at home. Some techniques that may be offered include:

  • Therapeutic exercises based on current biomechanical and anatomical research
  • Postural and activity modification
  • X-ray guided spinal injections
  • Additional modalities such as acupuncturemassageyoga, and relaxation techniques
