Patient Experience
At Spaulding Hospital Cambridge, satisfaction with your experience is a high priority. Each Spaulding facility and outpatient site seeks patient feedback to continually improve the patient experience.
Spaulding currently utilizes NRC Health to measure the quality of care provided to our patients. Through the NRC survey, we measure our patient’s willingness to recommend Spaulding to friends and family. We are proud to report that our patients rate us with excellent scores in patient experience across many metrics.
Discharge to Community
Returning to home, to a lower setting of care, or to acute care for planned ongoing treatment is an important goal for our patients and their families. The most recent data published by CMS for October 2020 – September 2022 shows that SHC ranked “better than the national rate.”
Hospital Readmissions
Another indicator of quality care is whether patients require readmission to an acute care hospital within 30 days of discharge from SHC. The most recent data published by CMS for October 2020 – September 2022 shows that SHC ranked “better than the national rate.”
