Lara Hauslaib

Vice President for Medical Administration

Lara Hauslaib oversees the administrative functions of medical affairs, research and education across Spaulding Rehabilitation. She works collaboratively with medical and research leadership and the executive team regarding operations, strategy development, and infrastructure development for the Spaulding Rehabilitation Research Institute.

Prior to this role, she served as the Senior Administrative Director for the Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at Spaulding Rehabilitation, MGH and BWH, which included oversight of physicians at 35 locations, as well as oversight of Graduate Medical Education and the 2 Model Systems. Prior to her roles at Spaulding Rehabilitation, she was the Senior Manager for the Hospitalist Service at Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH), which grew during her nine-year tenure from 50 clinicians to over 200 clinicians.

Lara completed an administrative fellowship at YNHH, and has a BA in Spanish from Tufts University and a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in Healthcare Management from Yale School of Public Health. She is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
