About

Dr. Ariana Vora has served on the faculty of the Harvard Medical School Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2005.  She completed her doctorate at Mount Sinai School of Medicine and her residency at Harvard Medical School, where she served as Chief Resident.  Dr. Vora is board-certified in Integrative and Holistic Medicine, Sports Medicine, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  She has extensive training and experience in Ayurveda and regenerative medicine.  She has assumed national leadership roles and received awards in the field of humanistic medicine. 

Her clinical and research interests include integrative medicine, combining ancient wisdom with modern techniques such as regenerative medicine, sports medicine, and performing arts medicine.  She is particularly interested in the use of cross-cultural medicine to enhance quality of life.  Her clinical practice includes integrative health consultation, lifestyle modification, non-operative orthopedic assessments and procedures, fitness and biomechanical evaluation, and regenerative techniques such as platelet-rich plasma, prolotherapy, and neuroprolotherapy for selected patients.  Patient motivation is required for her integrative approach to be effective in optimizing health, function and quality of life.
