Mitra McLarney, MD

Dr. Mitra McLarney is a dual board-certified physician in physical medicine and rehabilitation and pain management with specialized training in the fields of cancer rehabilitation and pain management.

Dr. McLarney completed her residency training at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where she served as Chief Resident in her final year. She then completed a fellowship in Cancer Rehabilitation Medicine also at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania followed by a fellowship in Chronic Pain Management at Massachusetts General Hospital. 

Dr. McLarney treats patients with various cancer-related concerns including chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy, radiation-induced fibrosis, post-mastectomy pain syndrome, lymphedema, cancer-related fatigue, aromatase-inhibitor induced arthralgia and cervical dystonia. She is also passionate about the role of exercise in the treatment of cancer.

She specializes in interventional pain procedures, using both fluoroscopy and ultrasound.
