About
Dayna Yorks, DO is board-certified in both physical medicine and rehabilitation and sports medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where she was a pitcher for the Division 3 women’s varsity softball team. She completed her medical education at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Maine, internship in internal medicine at Lankenau Medical Center in Pennsylvania, and residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation and sports medicine fellowship at the McGaw Medical Center at Northwestern University/Shirley Ryan AbilityLab in Illinois. As a former personal trainer and group fitness instructor, Dr. Yorks brings enthusiasm and expertise in utilizing “Exercise Is Medicine” principles in her practice with a focus on optimizing biomechanics for injury prevention and treatment. She is passionate about helping her patients achieve their unique activity goals.
