About
Daniel Sheehan, MD specializes in the management of spine problems, chronic pain and fatigue. In addition to neck and back pain, Dr. Sheehan also treats joint pain, diseases of aging, relative energy deficiency, and running injuries. From elite performance to debilitating arthritis, Dr. Sheehan has cured a wide range of patients. Faster recovery is the key to both effective training and resolution of chronic, degenerative conditions.
Procedure techniques which Dr. Sheehan uses include:Spinal injections with fluoroscopic guidance and Regenerative medicines such as Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) and Stem Cell procedures. To reset the normal healing cycle, Dr. Sheehan manages neuroinflammation, hormones, neurotransmitters, and cell signaling proteins. For example, testosterone replacement,treatment of underlying infections, and immune system modulators can rebalance energy demands, control excessive inflammation, and remove toxic senescent cells. After graduating medical school from Georgetown University and completing residency training at Spaulding/Harvard Medical School’s Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Dr. Sheehan has focused his scope of practice upon orthopedic rehabilitation, pain management and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Sheehan has successfully treated thousands of patients who are now pain free and reenergized. Former patients have been able to: return to work, achieve athletic goals, and enjoy vacations with their families. His goal is to treat the root cause of pain and fatigue. Ultimately, Dr. Sheehan’s pragmatic approach toward quick and lasting recovery is very cost effective.
When he’s not working at Spaulding Cape Cod, Dr. Sheehan enjoys running and coaching. He has completed both the Boston Marathon and the Western States 100 mile Endurance Run. Dr. Sheehan enjoys spending time outside running, hiking with dog and hanging out with his wife and three children.
