Outpatient Safety Information
Following the guidance of the CDC Guidelines and the state of Massachusetts, all Spaulding Rehabilitation Outpatient locations are open and scheduling appointments. We want to offer you the care you need and assure you that today – as always – your safety is our top priority.
EXCEPTIONAL SAFETY
Patient safety has always been at the heart of our mission – and now more than ever we continue to engage in vigilant prevention measures to reduce the risk of any infection.
Effective 6/15/21
SCREENINGAnyone who enters a Spaulding Rehabilitation facility will be asked some simple symptom screening questions upon entry. We will be asking patients these specific screening questions while making appointments as well as when you arrive at our center. |
MASKSEveryone in our facilities, both staff and patients, will be wearing hospital grade masks to help protect against the spread of COVID-19. Everyone is provided a mask upon entry and asked to wear it throughout their visit. Be prepared to store your own mask. |
HAND HYGIENEAnyone entering our buildings will be asked to sanitize their hands. Hand sanitizer stations are also available throughout our buildings. |
CLEANINGWe are cleaning in between patients and also “high touch” areas throughout the center repeatedly during the day. |
SOCIAL DISTANCINGWe have made changes to patient flow, waiting rooms and common areas to allow for some social distancing where possible. Please consult your center about options for your appointment. |
PATIENT VISITOR POLICYOur waiting rooms will be minimized—either you will wait in your car and be called when to come in or sent directly to a private treatment room. Do not come early for your appointment unless told to do so. Do not bring any extra items into our center for your appointment. We are allowing 1 visitor to accompany patients in the center at this time. We are asking patients to perform eCheck-In on their Patient Gateway accounts. If you don’t have an account set up, we can do that for you now. Please pay co-pays through your account as well. (If you are looking for proxy access for a child under 18 years old, please follow the instructions in the link to set yourself up for a gateway account, and then call your clinic to be granted proxy access.) |
COVID-19 Rehabilitation Outpatient Program
We're here to help.
