Find Your Strength & Fitness Program at Spaulding Malden

The Find Your Strength and Fitness Program helps people who have graduated from physical therapy move to regular gym workouts after an injury or surgery. It is designed to make the change easy and safe.

The goal of the program is to help people get stronger and feel more confident so they can manage their long-term fitness and recovery independently. The program includes specialized and individualized workout plans, education in safe ways to exercise, and support from physical therapists.

The program is typically structured as follows:

  • Initial Assessment: The physical therapist (PT) will evaluate the client’s current health and fitness along with their personal goals.
  • Personalized Training Plan: The PT will create individualized exercise plans to fit each client’s needs.
  • Education Sessions: Clients will be taught how to exercise safely and use gym equipment.
  • Final Assessment: When the client is ready to work out on their own, the PT will make sure they have the tools to continue.
  • Transition to Local Gym: Clients will be guided through the process of moving to a local gym for ongoing fitness.

The program costs $110 per visit. An initial package includes an evaluation and up to four follow-up visits.
