Pediatric Occupational Therapy at Spaulding Foxborough

Pediatric occupational therapy helps to facilitate a child’s ability to learn and maintain skills in all areas of development. Together, we work on developing your child’s cognitive skills, motor skills, social skills, and self-care skills such as bathing and feeding. With pediatric occupational therapy, we will help your child progress mentally and physically, helping to grow their confidence and independence

Our team of pediatric occupational therapists evaluate, diagnose and treat physical and functional impairments in children of all ages. Our interventions focus on adapting the environment, modifying the task, teaching the skill, and educating each child/family in order to increase participation in and performance of daily activities.

We work with you, your child, your family and other team members to create a rehabilitation program specific to your needs and goals.

Sensory bins are hands-on tactile experiences for kids, playing with a variety of mediums in controlled containers. They are easy and inexpensive to create and a great way for children to develop a variety of skills such as fine motor skills, motor planning, visual motor skills, tactile exposure, play skills, socials skills and language.
