All Spaulding Snfs Recieve Deficiency-free Surveys For 2010

Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center West Roxbury, Spaulding Nursing and Therapy Center North End, Spaulding Hospital North Shore's TCU and Spaulding affiliate Clark House have all completed their 2010 Department of Public Health surveys and have achieved the impressive distinction of deficiency-free surveys.

The rigorous multiple day surveys are conducted by on-site reviewers, who methodically review resident records, the environment care, staff performance, as well as conduct resident interviews in order to assess the facility's compliance with standards. The surveyors not only determined the Spaulding SNFs to be fully compliant, but also offered high praise in a number of areas, including: medication administration, pain management, food services and kitchen environment, rehab services, and staff interactions with residents.

All licensed skilled nursing facilities are surveyed each year by DPH, and fewer than ten percent of surveys result in zero findings.
