Education and Training
As a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School, part of the mission of Spaulding is the train the next generation of caregivers. With our international partnerships, we are able educate and train in best practices of rehabilitation.
We provide clinical training and education through hands-on and virtual training in areas such as:
- Brain Injury
- Spinal Cord Injury
- Burn
- Amputee
- Stroke
- Spine and chronic pain
We have also trained clients in specialty clinics and programs such as:
- Orthotics and Prosthetic
- Wheelchair seating
- Assistive Technology clinics
- Adaptive Sports
Our delivery methods can be customized to meet the needs of our clients. Some options include:
- Clinician visits to your facility for mentoring and training
- Virtual training via live transmission of content
- Physician grand rounds via video conference
- Physician and clinician case consultations via video conference: patient care review, documentation review, share of research supporting best practice interventions
- Spaulding site visits to host clinicians for observations of comprehensive, interdisciplinary rehab.
