Alcoholics Anonymous
Open to: General Public

Monthly Amputee Support Group
Purpose: All amputees, their family and friends are invited to attend. We meet to socialize and discuss common areas of interest, including accessibility and resources, as well as to provide support and share coping strategies with each other.
Where: Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston Conference Room 8A (8th Floor)
When: Usually meets on the first Wednesday of every month, from 1-2 pm

Aphasia Community Group
Purpose: This group is for For individuals with Aphasia, their families and members of the health care community.
Where: Spaulding Cape Cod, 2nd Fl. Dining Room
When: Meet on the first Wednesday of the month, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. No meetings in July and August.

Monthly BABIS (Boston Acquaired Brain Injury) Support Group
Purpose: This group is for brain injury survivors, family and friends. It is a large support group, averaging 60 or more people each month. There is no registration or fee to attend. We also have a facilitated family/caregiver (brain injury-related) support group which meets at the same time.
Where: Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston Conference Rooms 8A and 8B (8th Floor)
When: Usually meets on the first Saturday of the month, from 10 am to Noon. If a first Saturday falls on a holiday weekend, the BABIS Support Group will meet on the second Saturday. On holiday weekends, the group meets on the second Saturday of the month. There are no meetings in July or October.
Outings: We have two outings a year (usually April and August), which take the place of that month's meetings.

Early Onset Alzheimer's Support Group
Purpose: This group is for persons with Early Onset Alzheimer’s their families, and caregivers

Fibroymyalgia Support Group
Purpose: This group is for persons with Fibromyalgia

Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous
Purpose: This group is for supporting the general public

Purpose: This group is for persons with Multiple Sclerosis and their families

Parents/Caregivers Support Group
Purpose: For parents and caregivers caring for those with Autism Spectrum as well as Development disabilities.

Parkinson's Support Group of Plymouth
Purpose: This group is for persons with Parkinson’s Disease, their families, and caregivers

Weekly Spinal Cord Injury Support Group
Purpose: Weekly support groups for anyone affected by SCI (Spinal Cord Injury), to help and inspire the newly injured through role models and peer mentors, and to support individuals and family members as they begin their post-injury journeys. This group is run by run by Dr. Chris Carter.

Monthly Stroke Support Group
Purpose: The Spaulding Stroke Group is a community-based support group that provides socialization and education for stroke survivors. This group is registered with the National Stroke Association, as well as the American Heart Association.

Stroke Survivors' Support Group
Purpose: This group acts as a Forum for education, discussion and support for stroke survivors. The group is facilitated by fellow stroke survivors James Graham and Leanne Vasconcellos.

Stroke Peer Visitation Program
Purpose: The Stroke Peer Visitation Program expands the range of services SCC offers for stroke survivors and their families. The program is offered in conjunction with National Stroke Association and is intended for people who are not able to attend hospital or community-based support groups. Specially trained volunteers provide support and education through home visits. These visits may also be made to stroke survivors in assisted living facilities and nursing homes
