Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship

A Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship with us at Spaulding Rehabilitation prepares you to deliver comprehensive care for a range of spinal cord injuries. Our board-certified, renowned medical teaching staff will present opportunities for you to excel in the treatment and management of traumatic and non-trauma-induced spinal cord dysfunction across acute and chronic clinical experiences.

Objective

The ACGME accredited Harvard Medical School/ Spaulding/ VA Boston Fellowship Program combines knowledge with compassionate care in Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Medicine. This 12-month training program offers you advanced clinical training in SCI, a strong didactic component, and opportunities for research with protected elective time. The curriculum is designed to provide you with exposure to the full spectrum of SCI care and includes rotations at VA Boston, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Brigham & Woman’s Hospital.

Eligibility

Requirements include prior completion of an approved residency program in a specialty such as physical medicine and rehabilitation, neurology, internal medicine, family practice, surgery or other specialties relevant to spinal cord injury.
