Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital sponsors two lecture series for health care professionals and interested members of the community.  Both series are FREE and open to the public.

Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Grand Rounds

What  
The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) Grand Rounds are a didactic lecture series in which we aim to increase the attendee’s knowledge regarding practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the conduct of related research. We include lectures on topics from other medical and surgical specialties that are relevant to the practice of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.  We offered a limited number of distinguished lecturer grand rounds, which are presentations by experts that have made significant contributions to our field.

Where  
All lectures are held at 12 noon on Fridays (excluding July & August) in Conference Rooms 1A and 1B at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Main Campus at 300 First Avenue in Charlestown.

PM&R Grand Rounds Course Director: Mel B. Glenn, MD. Partners HealthCare System is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Partners HealthCare System designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Orthopedic/Trauma Lecture Series

The Trauma and Orthopedic Distinguished Lecture Series is incorporated into the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Grand Rounds. The Distinguished Lecture Series comprises 3-4 lectures each year on trauma and orthopedic topics. This Series was made possible by an anonymous gift to the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
