A Teaching Hospital and a Research Center

Led by PM&R faculty, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is a leading center for the development of groundbreaking research and advances in rehabilitation.

Our research efforts include clinical studies, the evaluation of new rehabilitation medications, development of diagnostic tools, design and testing of assistive devices and robotics, as well as basic research into the nature of disease and disability. Together, these endeavors enhance our treatment programs and help make sure treatment advancements reach patients faster.
