After seeing the destruction suffering by Hurricane Sandy, Mayor Thomas Menino has called upon the Boston Redevelopment Authority to catalog Boston sites that could need protection from high tides and has asked how to add flood-mitigation to the city's planning and building code. Coming 2013
Construction of a new, state-of-the-art Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is now underway in Charlestown MA. Slated to open in early 2013, it will provide enhanced patient care and expanded treatment and research space.
