Spaulding Outpatient Center Hyannis VIRTUAL Grand Opening

Spaulding is happy to have relocated our Yarmouth clinic to Hyannis. We are conveniently located one mile from Route 6 on Iyannough Road/Route 132 in Hyannis. Our new clinic is three times as large as our previous location. The things that have not changed are one-on-one clinical visits, our individualized patient treatments with positive outcomes, and our high-level functional outcomes.

In addition to our Physical Medicine and Rehabilitative services, with Dr. Susan Ehrenthal, Physiatrist, we offer a full complement of rehabilitation services: Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech-Language Pathology. Our treatments encompass the scope of multiple orthopedic and neurological diagnoses, as well as cognitive rehabilitation, pelvic health, vestibular and concussion rehab, and if appropriate, integration of the practice of yoga.

Spaulding Outpatient Center Hyannis follows our network promotion of professional development and continuing education for staff, research, and evidence-based practice. We also have the support of Special Interest Groups throughout the network, for additional resources. This equates to a positive experience with functional outcomes to promote the safety, wellbeing, and health that both you and your physician strive to attain and sustain.

Please call upon us at the Spaulding Outpatient Center in Hyannis for all of your rehabilitation and strengthening needs.

  • Balance & Vestibular Concussion

No matter your condition or therapeutic needs, improving your balance means greater safety and independence. Our goal is to determine all factors contributing to your imbalance and implement unique, specialized treatment that will allow you to safely enjoy the freedom you deserve.

For those suffering from a brain injury, it can be devastating for you and your family. We encourage you to never give up, to find the strength and courage to move forward and be the very best you you can be.

Here at Spaulding Rehabilitation we have an exceptional team of clinicians who work closely with local primary care physicians and pediatricians. We also work with area specialists, including neurologists, ophthalmologists, and ear nose & throat physicians. Vertigo and Imbalance can be debilitating and can significantly impact the quality of your life. It can interfere with your ability to work, attend classes, participate in your leisure and everyday activity. It can also put you at risk for falls. Patients suffering from a prolonged recovery from concussion can experience additional symptoms as well.

Our team of PT’s may use traditional physical therapy interventions (manual PT, strengthening, gait training and balance exercises) or more specific interventions (gaze stabilization, repositioning maneuvers, habituation or substitution exercises) to aide in your recovery. But most importantly we will take the time to educate you on your condition and how best to manage your self-care and recovery.
