COVID-19 Virtual Support Group
Our virtual support groups are for those who continue to suffer from ongoing symptoms of COVID-19, as well as their loved ones and caregivers. Guided by a licensed mental health counselor, these interactive groups will provide a safe space for patients to share stories and experiences, ask questions, and offer one another support.
Although each meeting will feature a topic of interest, patients are welcome to share and discuss any issues relevant to coping with COVID-19. Resources and hand-outs will also be shared. Virtual groups for COVID-19 survivors will be led by Kerry Lang, LMHC, who has over five years of experience running patient groups at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Kerry is the mental health counselor at the Dean Center for Tick Borne Illness, where she runs support groups and special events focused on wellness, art therapy, and mind/body medicine.
The group welcomes the following individuals:
•Diagnosed with COVID-19
•Loved ones or caregivers of a patient diagnosed with COVID-19
•18 years +
•Still experiencing symptoms/limitations
•Cognitively able to participate in conversation/discussion
