Long-term Acute Care Hospitals
Long-term acute care (LTAC) hospitals are for patients with complex medical needs as well as rehabilitation needs. Our LTAC hospital offers a wide range of rehabilitation services for patients with multiple or complex medical problems. Your medical needs are the primary driver of care.
Our approach to long-term acute care
Our highly skilled physicians, nurses, therapists and other clinicians work together to provide specific medical treatments needed by each patient. You or your loved one will receive specialty nursing services such as wound care, dialysis, chemotherapy and rehabilitation therapy as needed.
LTACs are not the same as nursing homes. Patients at LTACs usually need more intensive medical care than a nursing home can provide. They also tend to stay for a shorter period of time.
