Interventional Pain and Spine Program at Spaulding Rehabilitation Outpatient Center Framingham

Interventional pain management may help you manage your pain in conjunction with other treatment modalities. In addition to conservative treatment such as prescription medications, an interventional pain management approach uses injections to help diagnose and treat the source of pain. The goal is to reduce pain so that you may resume normal activities.

When indicated, procedures may be done under fluoroscopic (X-ray) guidance.

Procedures may include:

  • Epidural steroid injections (ESI)
  • Facet joint block
  • Sympathetic and parasympathetic nerve block
  • Trigger point injection (TPI)
  • Radiofrequency ablation
