Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod Nursing Department (SCC) is composed of approximately 80 nurses working in various roles throughout the hospital, with the majority of these nurses providing direct patient care.

SCC is committed to advancing the profession of nursing through internal educational opportunities, including preparatory courses for Certification as Rehabilitation Registered Nurses (CRRN). A significant number of Spaulding Cape Cod nurses are prepared at the baccalaureate level or higher, with a goal of achieving the 80 percent standard set by the Institute of Medicine’s Future of Nursing report.

Many of our nurses live and work on Cape Cod. They are engaged in community outreach activities and contribute to community programs such as volunteering at The McGraw Center for Adaptive Sports and the Falmouth Road Race, and addressing food insecurity by organizing food drives for the Sandwich Food Pantry.

SCC nurses are key contributors of the interprofessional team focused on ensuring the highest possible patient outcomes and strongest measures of patient experience… helping our patients to Find Their Strength.
