Donor-Advised Fund Giving

A donor-advised fund is a smart vehicle to manage and direct your giving — and you can make a meaningful impact by including Spaulding as a top priority.

Spaulding gratefully welcomes charitable support through donor-advised funds (“DAF”), which are often managed by financial services firms (Fidelity, Vanguard, etc.) or non-profit community foundations (i.e., the Boston Foundation). If you’d like to contribute to Spaulding, please direct your DAF administrator to send your distribution to:

Spaulding Rehabilitation
Development Office
300 First Avenue
Charlestown, MA 02129

When initiating a DAF distribution, please use Tax ID 04-2551124 for Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Corporation.

If you or your DAF administrator have questions about making a distribution from your fund, please call us at 617-952-6880.

Ann Merrifield and Wayne Davis
“Spaulding has so much to contribute to this new era of discovery and possibility. We’re delighted to support their research aspirations, and our donor-advised fund is the perfect way to do it.”
When the new Schoen Adams Research Institute was established, Ann Merrifield, a retired biotech executive, and her husband, Wayne Davis, used their donor-advised fund to become founding investors. Impressed by the Institute’s early work, Ann and Wayne decided to double their initial investment, again using assets from their donor-advised fund to accelerate research and help build a pipeline of young investigators.

Imagine the Possibilities
