Planning Your Visit
Please note that our screening and masking policies changed on May 12, 2023, following the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency.
If you have an in-person appointment coming up, please review the information about what to expect and do before and on the day of your appointment.
Masking guidance
Masks have been important during the pandemic. At this point in time, however, universal masking is no longer needed. This is due to many factors, including the availability of vaccines and treatments.
With the end of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, Mass General Brigham, including Spaulding Rehabilitation, will end universal masking at all our hospitals, clinics, and other facilities starting on May 12, 2023.
Visitor policy
We know how important visitors and support persons are to your health and well-being.
- One visitor or support person is allowed in outpatient clinical care areas.
- We permit two visitors at a time per patient in inpatient areas.
- Visiting hours are 11 am to 8 pm at Spaulding Cambridge, Spaulding Cape Cod, and Spaulding Boston.
Please note that in some situations, we may need to limit visitors to ensure patient and staff safety.
