Going home may be the first goal after a serious illness, injury or surgery, but it’s not the only one. At Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Cape Cod, we help you find the strength – both physical and emotional – to get back to the people, places and activities that give your life meaning.
As the only facility on Cape Cod offering hospital-level rehabilitation care, Spaulding Cape Cod provides an intensive level of inpatient medical, nursing and therapy services that help patients recover and feel strong.
Our physician-led teams of rehabilitation specialists work together to help patients improve function and attain their greatest potential for independence. Once they have returned home, patients may continue their recovery through SCC’s extensive outpatient services, adaptive sports programs and support groups.
At Spaulding Cape Cod’s outpatient centers, patients benefit from a holistic approach to care. Our physical, occupational, and speech therapists and our physicians are skilled in treating a wide array of conditions, from sports injuries to complex neurological disorders. Our centers are located in Sandwich, Yarmouth, Orleans and Plymouth, and our pediatric center is in Forestdale.
Spaulding Cape Cod consistently receives outstanding marks from patients and has earned a reputation for exceptional outcomes. As a member of the Spaulding Rehabilitation Network, Spaulding Cape Cod follows the highest standards of rehabilitation care. As a result, our patients recover sooner and get back to their lives at a higher level of ability and independence.
Spaulding Cape Cod is committed to a process of continuous quality monitoring and improvement. We participate in national, regional and internal programs to measure the effectiveness of our treatments and patients’ satisfaction with our care.
