Spaulding Outpatient Center Cambridge
Spaulding Outpatient Center Cambridge provides comprehensive medical and rehabilitation services including Physiatry, Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. We are also home to the Spaulding Center for Lifelong Health and Fitness and are the site of ongoing research activities funded by the National Institute of Health.
Our talented professionals specialize in the diagnostics and treatment of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, hand, sports and work related injuries. We have the capability to perform fluoroscopic guided spine and joint injections. In addition, we provide comprehensive neurological and amputee rehabilitation. We have an Aquatic Therapy program and also specialize in the treatment and prevention of injuries in musicians and performing artists through the Healthy Performing Artists Program. Additionally, on site is the Live Long Walk Strong Program, designed to assess, treat and create outcome studies for patients with mobility decline who are at risk for falls. Our therapists also utilize the unique “Easy Street” environment that simulates community living situations, and provides a safe setting to practice everyday living skills in conjunction with formal therapy. In 2011, we opened the Spaulding National Running Center. The center is comprised of the Running Injury Clinic, where runners are evaluated and treated, and the Running Research Laboratory, where running biomechanical studies are conducted.
At Spaulding Cambridge we have many complementary after-care programs such as Yoga, Massage Therapy and other community based wellness programs. Located on the campus at Spaulding Hospital for Continuing Medical Care Cambridge, our outpatient center is equipped with state of the art exercise and treatment facilities and a knowledgeable and talented rehab staff focusing on prevention, education and management of injuries, ideal for your rehabilitative needs.
