Boston pychological study finds many survivors still suffer from the trauma of that horrible night

A longitudinal study by Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital Boston's Dr. Jeffrey Schneider, in partnership with Harvard Medical School, found that a high percentage of Station fire survivors have struggled with posttraumatic stress and depression regardless of whether they were burned in the blaze; years later, many still struggle and could benefit from mental-health care.

That emotional trauma — rather than physical injury — drove life disruptions. To hear about Dr. Schneider's research and how the team is working to better the lives of the Station Nightclub survivors, please click here.
